About Us
Panskura Banamali college is a Govt. aided Autonomous college affiliated under Vidyasagar University, West Bengal. It was accredited with grade ‘A’ by NAAC (3.11; 2016-2021). Along with UG courses (B.A., B.Sc.,B.Com, B.C.A.) in various academic disciplines and also in teachers’ training and physical education, there are PG courses that are offered in 8 Science and Arts subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Geography, Bengali, History, and Physical Education.
We are glad to announce that UGC has recently upgraded the status of our college from a Bachelor’s degree college to Ph.D Degree College under section 2(f) & 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956. The college has also been recognized by the University as Research centre in the faculty of Science. The college is also been the recipient of DST-FIST (Government of India) and DBT- BOOST grant (Government of West Bengal). The college has also been recognized by UGC by conferring autonomy status from the session 2018-2019 to2027-2028.
