Merit Index Calculation
1. will be made strictly on Merit basis.
2. point in Hons Course will be calculated by adding 10% of total marks obtained in the ‘best five’ subjects Higher Secondary / equivalent examination and the marks obtained in the subject in which the admission in Honours Course is sought.
Example :
| Total marks obtained in the ‘Best Five’ subjects = 300 | |
| 10% of Total Marks ....................................................... = 30 | Marks obtained in the subject in which the admission in Honours Course in sought .... = 50 |
| Total marks = 30 + 50 = 80 | |
