Verification

Date of verification of original testimonials: Verification of documents will be done at the time of beginning of the classes.

A. Requirement for completing the process of UG admission 2019-2020:

1. Candidates are required to produce all original certificates, mark sheets and testimonials for verification to complete the admission process.

2. One set of printed application form (submitted online) duly signed by applicant and his/her guardian.

3. Self attested photo copy of the Admit Card/ Certificate of Madhyamik/H.S. or equivalent as evidence of the date of birth.

4. Two sets of self attested photocopies of all testimonials from Madhyamik (Class X) to Higher Secondary (10+2) level.

5. Four sets of recent passport size photograph.

6. Self attested photo copy of SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B (Issued only by SDO) /Persons with Disability (PWD) certificate issued by the appropriate authority, if claimed quota.

7. Original school leaving certificate.

8. Original Bank Challan (off line) or Online generated copies of application and admission fees receipt.

9. Subject wise admission fees will be available in college website.

B. Verification of Original Testimonials:

1. Verification of documents:

i. For Honours Courses – 17.07.2019 (at respective Departments).

ii. For General Courses (Morning Section) – 18.07.2019 (Roll no wise first 50% student) & 19.07.2019 (Roll no wise rest 50% student) at Student Section of College Office.

iii. For General Courses (B Sc. Pure & Bio) - 20.07.2019 at Student Section of College Office.

iv. For General Courses (B com) - 18.07.2019 at Commerce Department.

2. All the documents mentioned in the item F must be produced at the time of verification.

3. All the admissions are purely provisional and the college authority may cancel the admitted candidature at any time and level of the programme if the student submitted any false document

C. Other Important Information for admission:

1. Selection for admission in to different courses will be done according to merit basis.

2. Candidates selected for admission in a particular subject in a selection list, will have to pay requisite admission fees strictly within stipulated date and time.

3. Both on line and off line payment system are available. Candidates willing to use off line payment system, have to generate Bank Challan (PNB) by login to their admission account in the admission website and pay requisite admission fees as stated in the challan to any branch of Panjab National Bank.

4. Candidates also have to collect fees payment receipt (either auto generated for online payment or provided by PNB for off line payment). This should have to produce during verification process of original documents.

5. For admission into Microbiology, Biotechnology, Computer Science and BCA and Economics: Candidates once admitted, there name will not be considered for other subjects in next selection list if any.

6. For other subjects, if selected in a subsequent selection list according to merit, admitted candidates may take admission to the new subjects, only after cancellation of the previous admission. Cancellation of previous admission can be done by login into admission website. Admission fees of previous admission cannot be adjusted at time of new admission.

7. Verification of original documents and application form (printed at the time of online application) will be done by the departments and college office within stipulated date and time as mentioned in the item no G. If candidate does not appear for verification of original documents on the stipulated date and time, his / her provisional admission will automatically have cancelled. If any irregularity / mismatch is found during verification of original documents, or any other stage, provisional admission will automatically be cancelled.

8. Admission process will be completed after the verification of original documents and application form generated at the time of online application.

9. Selection of Generic Elective Course (GEC) will be done according to merit basis within one week of the commencement of the classes.

10. The name of the students, who fail to attend 75% of the total classes held within first 07 teaching days, will be deleted from the admission register.

D. Commencement of Classes and Institutional Registration:

1. Date of commencement of UG Semester – I for the session 2019-2020 will be on 12.07.2019.

2. Students must follow the college rules and regulations properly.

3. If any student found absent for consecutive 07 teaching days from the date of commencement of classes, their admission will be cancelled.

4. Institutional Registration will start from 3rd week of July, 2019.

 

All admissions are provisional and authority has the right to cancel admission for wrong information/ suppression of facts or any other reason.
